We are looking for well-rounded individuals that take pride in their
community. The Moses Lake Spring Festival Committee will select
the Ambassadors based on the application criteria listed below.
This program ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines
and regulations regarding nondiscrimination against any student
on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender or disability.
*Open to all Moses Lake students between the ages of 12-17
*Selected Ambassadors will be involved in various activities throughout
Spring Festival
*Selected Ambassadors will ride the float from May 2008-September
2008
*Selected Ambassadors will receive a $500 Savings Bond
There will be four Ambassadors chosen, 2 middle school age, and
2 high school age. Each Ambassador will be required to participate
in a variety of Spring Festival Activities, and will ride in 6 of
the 12 float runs. After all applications have been received, there
will be a pre-selection meeting with all applicants and a parent/guardian
to discuss the requirements and the 2008 float run schedule. Once
the Ambassadors have been chosen, there will be a meeting with all
the Ambassadors and a parent/adult chaperone to set the schedule.
Each Ambassador will be required to have a parent or adult chaperone
on each of the float runs. The Ambassadors will also participate
in helping prepare the float for the 2008 season. The float is already
constructed; it just needs a few touch ups.
